Bron Breakker & Finn Balor Segment 

Finn Balor: Hey, Bron, the only reason you’re still the Intercontinental Champion is because The Judgment Day has allowed you to remain the Intercontinental Champion.

Bron Breakker: The reason that I’m still the Intercontinental Champion is because I’m a dog. And last I checked, Finn, last week, I embarrassed all of The Judgment Day.

Finn Balor: Embarrass The Judgment Day, huh, Embarrass The Judgment Day. Bron, my name is Finn Balor, and I chew up little rookies like you for breakfast, because in this ring, I am untouchable. That’s right, I am untouchable. And I could take that title from you anytime I like. Now, you’re clearly just a little smarter than you look, you’re up standing behind Jackie, because you know, that the first time you step in the ring with me, there won’t be any dogs barking. No, they’re going to be watching me put you down.

Bron makes the long walk to the ringside area. Bron kicks Carlito in the gut. Bron launches Carlito into the timekeeper’s area. Bron catches Dominik Mysterio in mid-air. Bron with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex on the floor. Finn drops Balor with The SlingBlade. Finn transitions into a ground and pound attack. Finn with a double leg takedown. Finn with a Double Foot Stomp. Finn starts gloating. Bron grabs Finn by his throat. Bron nails Finn with The Press Powerslam. Bron goes for The Super Spear, but Dirty Dom pulls Finn out of the ring. Bron plants Carlito with The Wrap Around Spear on the floor to close this segment.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio w/ The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Carlito) vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker

The bell rings, and the crowd is barking for Breakker. Mysterio flexes his “muscles,” so Breakker shoves him down. Breakker blocks a kick and flips Mysterio over the top rope to the floor. Breakker goes to ringside and sends Mysterio back into the ring. Breakker blocks a punch and hooks a side headlock. Mysterio whips him off, but Breakker hits the ropes at a ridiculous speed and turns Mysterio inside out with a clothesline! Bálor and Carlito pull Mysterio out of the ring to help him recover.

Breakker goes outside and chases Mysterio back into the ring. Mysterio stomps Breakker as he gets in the ring and goes for a suplex, but Breakker blocks it. Breakker flips him off for a slam. Bálor distracts the referee. Carlito trips Breakker, so Breakker starts choking him at ringside. Mysterio hits Breakker with a suicide dive and gets him in the ring for a slingshot senton bomb for a two-count. Mysterio taunts the crowd and turns around to see Breakker grab him by the throat. Carlito gets on the apron, so Breakker knocks him off. Mysterio knocks Breakker into the ropes and hits a 619. Mysterio heads to the top rope, but Breakker cuts him off. Breakker sets up for a superplex, but Mysterio knocks him to the canvas. Breakker immediately scales the ropes for a Frankensteiner! Breakker pulls the straps down and sets up for a Spear, but Bálor and Carlito pull him out of the ring. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by Disqualification: Bron Breakker

Bálor, Carlito, and Mysterio triple-team Breakker in the ring. Carlito holds Breakker up as Mysterio strikes him. Mysterio charges, but Breakker manages to hit him with a back body drop over the top rope. Breakker hits the ropes and hits Carlito with a Spear. Breakker immediately turns and stops Bálor in his tracks as he tries to get in the ring with a chair. Bálor cautiously backs off and stares at Breakker from ringside.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio w/ Carlito vs. AJ Styles

They circle the ring and lock up. Styles quickly hooks a side headlock. Mysterio tries to whip him off, but Styles pulls the hair. Styles hooks a waistlock before connecting with a back suplex. Mysterio begs him off, but Styles grabs him and bounces him off the top turnbuckle. Styles has him in the corner and chops the chest. Styles connects with a backbreaker and stands tall. Styles whips Mysterio hard into the corner, and Mysterio falls to the canvas in pain. Styles punches him against the ropes before going for a vertical suplex. Mysterio lands on his feet and attacks Styles. Mysterio hits the ropes, but Styles drops him with a dropkick. Mysterio rolls out of the ring to recover. Styles goes to the apron and hits a sliding knee to Mysterio’s face. Styles gets Mysterio back in the ring and charges him in the corner. Mysterio drops him on the apron, but Styles knocks him back. Mysterio quickly grabs the referee. Styles sets up for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Carlito jumps up and knocks Styles off the ropes. Styles crashes to the floor. Mysterio then connects with a suicide dive and stands tall with Carlito, who is taking a bite of his apple.

-Commercial Break-

Back from the break, Styles elbows out of a side headlock and knocks Mysterio to the corner. Styles charges, but Mysterio elbows him back and takes him down. Mysterio goes to the apron and connects with a slingshot somersault senton for a two-count. Mysterio starts up the Three Amigos. Styles counters out of the third amigo, but Mysterio drops him into the ropes. Mysterio connects with a 619 before heading to the top rope. Mysterio goes for a Frog Splash, but Styles moves.

Both men are down. Styles gets up and hits a nasty strike combo on Mysterio before hitting a stiff lariat. Styles follows up with a running basement forearm. Styles attacks him in the corner and hits an ushigoroshi. Styles signals for the end and sets up for a Styles Clash. Carlito goes to get in the ring, but Styles kicks the middle rope into his groin, causing Carlito to spit apple everywhere. Styles hits the ropes and forearms Carlito off the apron. Mysterio rolls Styles up for a near fall. Mysterio goes for a hurricanrana, but Styles counters into a Styles Clash for the win!

Winner by Pinfall: AJ Styles

As AJ Styles celebrates in the ring, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker gets into the ring and sizes him up. Styles turns and moves when he sees Breakker charging. Breakker hits Mysterio with a Spear instead! Styles quickly takes Breakker out with a Pele Kick and knocks him out of the ring. Breakker is furious and throws his shirt at Styles, but Styles catches it. Breakker is furious and takes his title before leaving.

AJ Styles is talking with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce says next week, Styles will face “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. Styles is happy about that. Styles turns and sees WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker decked out in a cowboy hat. Breakker coldly stares at Styles and says, “See you around.” Breakker walks off.

Ludwig Kaiser approached Pete Dunne backstage and said things didn’t go his way last week. Dunne told him to be careful. Kaiser said someone should show this guy (Penta) how they do things around there. The New Day walked in and said you can’t trust guys who wear masks. Kaiser and Dunne walked away. Kofi Kingston said, “Come on, man, not y’all?” Kelley approached New Day. Kofi said Atlanta’s greatest son is back. Kelley guessed it was Bron Breakker, Theory, and Cody. A frustrated Xavier said it’s him. He said he’s going to impress his family tonight. Kofi asked if they were there yet. Xavier said no, but he spent too much money on those front row tickets so he’s sure they’ll be there.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley is with Sheamus. Sheamus will challenge Bron Breakker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Sheamus says he’s been living his career backward. Six months after debuting, he defeated one of the greatest of all time, John Cena, for the World Title. Usually, people win the Intercontinental Championship first. Sheamus is going to fulfill his destiny by winning the last title he hasn’t won on Saturday. Sheamus says, “Let’s go, Irish.”

WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker walks up and holds the title up. Breakker says this is as close as he’ll get to the title. On Saturday, he’ll break him like an old man. Breakker warns Sheamus to retire. Sheamus shoves him away, and Breakker laughs.

Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Sheamus quickly gets Kaiser in the corner and punches away at him. Kaiser reverses a whip, but Sheamus blocks a hip toss and hits a clothesline. Sheamus rips at Kaiser’s face, but Kaiser quickly kicks him in the head. They brawl at ringside with stiff chops to the chest. Sheamus gets Kaiser in the ring and punches him back. Sheamus sets up for 10 Beats of the Bodhrán, but Kaiser gets out and knocks him into the announce table. Kaiser runs around ringside and hits a running dropkick as we head into commerical break.

Returning from the break, Kaiser looks like he dropped an elbow on Sheamus for a two-count. Kaiser kicks away at Sheamus, but Sheamus absorbs the shot. Sheamus strikes away at him and puts him on the apron for the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán. Sheamus follows up with White Noise off the second rope for a near fall. Kaiser grabs the shillelagh, but Sheamus knees him in the face for a near fall. Sheamus sets up for a Brogue Kick, but Kaiser chops him and hits a step-up enzuigiri for a two-count. Kaiser goes for his swinging DDT, but Sheamus fights out. Kaiser chops him, but Sheamus responds with a knee to the face. Kaiser fights back with a Death Valley Driver for a two-count.

Kaiser mocks Sheamus’ Brogue Kick taunt. Kaiser goes for a running enzuigiri, but Sheamus ducks it. Sheamus catches him with a Brogue Kick to pick up the victory.

Winner by Pinfall: Sheamus

Sheamus celebrates with Pat McAfee before getting into a shoving match with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

Richard Gadd and Tiffany Haddish are at ringside. Stephen Amell, who once had a match at SummerSlam, is also at ringside. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is sitting with new WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is also there. It’s nice to see she’s back in the fold with WWE.
